This years AGM is just around the corner. Why not come along, it's your club too.
Elections to the Committee will take place at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 8 March 2010, in the coffee lounge at Hazel Grove Methodist Church Hall, Wesley Street, Hazel Grove, starting at 8.00 pm.
Members aged 16 years and over, or parents/guardians of members aged under 16 are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and can stand for election to the committee, which has the responsibility for managing the club.
The Committee meets on the second Monday of each month for an hour or so. We really need new parents to get involved with the club. Don’t worry if you have never been involved with something like this before – all the current members used to just come along to watch their children swim too.
Before nominating someone to a position, please ensure that the person is willing to stand for election.
Committee Nominations, Notice of the AGM and Constitution Change information will be on the notice board from Saturday 20th February.
The Tick Lists for the Spring Sprints are now up. Could all members please note that you need to tick off before 18 February if you want to take part. Galas are on 11th and 18th March, 6.00 pm onwards. The spring sprints are open to members of both the small and main pool, as long as you are fully paid up and have not been a member of another club since September 2009. Swimmers who do the' 'link swimmer' can only take part if they swim less than one session at Metro per week.
