Update from Sammy’s Mum:
“Just wanted to send you the update on Sammy having finished her challenge to swim the equivalent of the English Channel in a 25m pool over 28 days throughout October.
I am delighted to be able to confirm that Sammy actually swam 2061 lengths in total, which is 51,525 metres or a massive 32 miles. So in the end Sammy swam across the channel and in fact 10 miles back.
As I am sure you will agree with me that this is an awesome achievement for for a very worthwhile charity – The total raised to date is £560.00 plus Gift Aid of £103.75 making a grand total as of today of £663.75.
Whilst writing Sammy and I would like to thank you so much for highlighting Sammy’s challenge on the Saracens website which has generated much support.
