We have a strong team of dedicated ASA qualified swimming teachers, all of whom are volunteers. The Club is managed by elected Officers and Committee members, most of whom are parents of swimmers. Parents are encouraged to participate in the running of the Club and to help out on poolside.
In 2005 the Club achieved ASA Swim 21 accreditation at Teaching level which demonstrates quality in all aspects of the club’s development and recognises that we are a safe, effective and child-friendly club. This confirms the reputation that Saracens has always had in providing a great environment in which children can learn to swim and progress to a competitive standard.
If you are interested in joining Saracens, then the first step is to arrange a trial. This is usually held on our Thursday club night. This allows the swimmer to experience a a typical club session, and allows us to make sure that Saracens is the appropriate level for the swimmer. The club also offers swimming lessons based on the ASA’s national teaching plan for swimming. We take children from the age of 4 years of age.
For more information or enquiries about joining Saracens and to arrange a trial please contact Mrs Alison Nuttall at Join@Saracens-asc.co.uk Please provide full name, date of birth, address, telephone, email address and prior swimming history in your email enquiry.
Following a successful trial, Main pool swimmers can now send an E-mail to the membership secretary who will then provide the relevant forms and further details.
